Plant Description:
Coleus is an aromatic perennial, with an erect stem and tuber like roots, reaching 60 cm. Indian subcontinents is considered as the place of origin of C. forskohlii Briq. It grows wild in the subtropical temperate climates of India, Nepal, Burma, Sri Lanka and Thailand. The rootstock is thick, fibrous, rapidly spreading and typically golden brown.
