Plant Description:

Camellia sinensis is the species of plant whose leaves and leaf buds are used to produce Chinese tea. White tea, green tea, oolong and black tea are all harvested from this species, but are processed differently to attain different levels of oxidation. The significant differences of tea types derive from growing conditions of the plant, harvesting procedures, and processing of the leaves. Oolong tea is semi-oxidized tea. It is a widely used medicinal plant by the trials throughout India, China and popular in various indigenous system of medicine like Ayurveda, Unani and Homoeopathy.
