Plant Description:
Green coffee beans are the unroasted seeds of the Coffea plant. Unlike their roasted counterparts, green coffee beans retain higher levels of chlorogenic acids, which are believed to have significant health benefits. The Coffea plant is an evergreen shrub or small tree, characterized by glossy green leaves and clusters of fragrant white flowers, followed by red or purple cherries containing the seeds (coffee beans). It is cultivated in tropical regions around the world, particularly in Africa, Central and South America, and Southeast Asia.
